Last week in Bryan, TX, Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation and the American Warrior Initiative (AWI) hosted a “Boot Camp” event to provide training to real estate agents and honor a local veteran and his family. Real estate agents received training to educate them on working with the home purchase needs of active duty and military veterans.
Nathan and Racine Graves were honored at the event. Nathan is a U.S. veteran who continues to serve his community as a law enforcement officer. Nathan’s wife, Racine, was recently diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer and is unable to carry their one-year-old son due to her treatment. Fairway and the American Warrior Initiative donated $17,500 to this wonderful family to help with medical bills and family expenses.
The American Warrior Initiative is a national non-profit organization sponsored by Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation. AWI seeks to ease the transition for U.S. veterans between military and civilian life. The mission of AWI is to inspire, educate and give back to our military and their families.
I am proud to work for a company that works so hard to honor those who sacrifice for our country. If I can help answer any questions about VA loans or any other home loan options, give me a call.
